  On Sunday July 16th, we will be celebrating our 7th annual Food Fayre! Each year it has grown in popularity and had to be changed from its original location at the Village Hall to the spacious fields of Bucknowle Farm, with spectacular views across the Purbeck Hills! Country Life has described our Food Fayre as unmissable and one of the best events for one’s diary that week! Feedback from visitors has been equally positive and most return year after year. We are expecting around 45 local Purbeck Producers, as well as ones from further afield in Dorset. From speciality cheeses to mouth-watering cakes, home-grown vegetables, locally reared meat, fresh seafood and unique oils, preserves and liquers (and much, much more), expect to find the best that Dorset has to offer! There will be plenty of delicious options for your lunch or afternoon tea and donkey rides, face painting and other fun activities to entertain the children while you relax with a refreshing Pimm’s! We also have an exciting line-up of cookery demonstrations to get you inspired! Mark Binns of the Isle of Purbeck Golf Club will be cooking up a storm followed by Andy Chu who has built up a reputation as an entertainer and demonstrator in the fine arts of Chinese cooking. Andy believes the secret of great Chinese cooking is to stick to the traditional recipes. Lloyd Brown of Grey Bear, a bar consultancy company operating in the South West of England, will be giving his famous cocktail demonstrations.
